Police Blotter: A Minor Decoy, a Found Baggie and "Late-Teen Males Rolling a Joint"

A run-down of recent police activity and crime in Pacifica

Mar. 23 - 1:28p.m: An unknown male suspect, possibly a transient, was reportedly disturbing customers of Safeway at Linda Mar Center. The man was asking patrons if he could push carts or carry their bags in exchange for cash.

Mar. 24 - 10:15a.m: A fiber optic telecommunications cable fell to the ground blocking north and south-bound Highway 1. Highway 1 was . 

Mar. 25 - Minor Decoy. Pacifica Police conducted a "" which resulted in the arrest of one employee of Ernie's Wine and Liquors.

Mar. 26 – 12:49p.m: A resident called Pacifica Police to report “four late-teen males rolling a joint” in a vehicle at the Quik Stop on Crespi Drive. 3:02p.m: A found baggie. A resident of the 1300 block of Solano Drive found a baggie of marijuana in the front yard of a home in the area. The baggie was turned in to Pacifica Police.

Mar. 27 – 3:44p.m: A vehicle parked in the front of a residence at the 1300 block of Alicante Drive was “egged” overnight. The suspect was unknown at the time a report was made to Pacifica Police, but the victim reported a surveillance video may show a possible suspect.

Mar. 28 – 8a.m: An assault was reported on the 300 block of Heathcliff Drive. A resident reported that her 35-year-old daughter pulled her hair over an argument about her granddaughter attending school. 9:42a.m: A hit-and-run was reported at Hickey Boulevard.

Mar. 29 – 2:12a.m: A resident of the 600 block of Hickey Boulevard reported a noise disturbance coming from a neighboring home. The caller told Pacifica Police that possible underage drinking was involved. The party was later shut down. 10:38p.m: A SamTrans bus was vandalized at the Pacifica Community Center on Crespi Drive. An officer passing by noticed that a rear window of the bus had been smashed.
