Pedestrian Fatality Closes Highway 280 Lanes in Daly City

A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday morning at about 5:50 a.m. near the John Daly Blvd. off-ramp.

According to a 511.org tweet , (511 Bay Area @511SFBay) all Lanes are Open on Northbound I-280 in Daly City.

A pedestrian fatality and multiple vehicle collisions have caused all southbound lanes and two northbound lanes of Interstate Highway 280 in Daly City to be blocked this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
           
The pedestrian fatality was reported at about 5:30 a.m. and a Sigalert was issued at about 5:45 a.m. for southbound I-280 near the John Daly Boulevard off-ramp, according to the CHP.
           
A pedestrian was struck by at least one vehicle and declared deceased at the scene, the CHP said.
           
Motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes. No estimated time of reopening the roadway has been announced.
