Pacifica Pedestrian Hit by Alleged DUI Driver

The victim, a Pacifica resident, suffered major injuries.

Police arrested a Pacifica resident who struck a pedestrian while driving under the influence in Pacifica Friday evening.

North County fire crews and Pacifica police responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision at about 5:50 p.m. in the 800 block of Oddstad Boulevard.

Upon arriving at the scene of the collision, emergency crews located the pedestrian, a 55-year-old Pacifica resident. She was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with major injuries, not considered to be life threatening.

Police said the driver was identified as a 46-year-old Pacifica resident. The driver was arrested for felony driving under the influence causing injury.

The collision remains under investigation, police said.
