Update: Traffic Moving Again After Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 1

Update, 2:56 p.m. A CHP spokesman said the agency would likely not be able to give updates.

Update, 2:22 p.m. CHP reports that traffic started moving again in both directions on Highway 1 at about 2:20 p.m. after the roadway was closed for about an hour due to a three-vehicle crash.

There are no updates yet on the conditions of the four people taken to the hospital.

A three-vehicle crash is blocking both directions of state Highway 1 south of Pacifica this afternoon, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The crash was reported at about 1:25 p.m. just north of Graywhale Cove State Beach, CHP Officer Mark Johnston said.

Four people are reportedly being transported to a hospital, Johnston said.
