UPDATE: Highway 1 Reopened After Head-On Crash at Devil's Slide
Crash was reported at 4:40p.m. Minor to moderate injuries were sustained.

State Highway 1 at Devil's Slide has reopened after a head-on collision blocked traffic earlier this evening, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The minor- to moderate-injury collision involving at least two vehicles was reported at about 4:40 p.m., CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said.
Two people were taken to a hospital for complaints of pain and a facial laceration, Van Eckhardt said.

The roadway was reopened by 6:10 p.m.

Traffic on state Highway 1 at Devil's Slide is stalled because of a head-on collision involving at least two vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The minor- to moderate-injury collision was reported at about 4:40 p.m., and as of 4:55 p.m. the entire roadway was closed, CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said.
There was no estimated time on when the roadway would reopen, he said.
