Update: Have You Seen This Woman?

Jennifer Leigh Prince, wanted by police for questioning about a recent spree of car and house break-ins, has a connection to a series of December 2010 Portola Valley property crimes.

Update 10/30/12 10:35 a.m.:

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office has confirmed with Half Moon Bay Patch that Jennifer Leigh Prince is the same woman who was arrested on Dec. 24, 2010, on charges of identity theft and possession of stolen property in Half Moon Bay.

Prince, 40 years old and a San Francisco resident at the time, was linked to the Half Moon Bay crime and a series of December 2010 Portola Valley property crimes with another woman, Lisa Annette Muniz.

Prince's backstory dates to 2008 when she was charged in a carjacking and shooting in San Rafael. Prince pleaded guilty to identity theft and was sentenced in May 2008 to four years in prison.

The Marin Independent Journal reported that Prince had 14 prior convictions that included burglary, vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.

Yes, you got it right. Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt of the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that it is the same woman. We've updated the story and are waiting to hear back from the district attorney as to what her sentence was after her most recent arrest for the Portola Valley crimes in 2010.
