Firefighters Rescue Hiker From Cliff at Mori Point

A hiker 150 feet down the side of a cliff in Pacifica needed rescue services Friday.

 

A hiker was rescued from a cliff at Mori Point in Pacifica today, according to fire officials.

Firefighters who were called to Mori Point, south of Sharp Park Beach, at 1:39 p.m. located a man around 150 feet down the side of a cliff, according to the North County Fire Authority.

The hiker was rescued using a rope rescue system and evaluated by paramedics.

He was released and the incident cleared in around two hours, fire officials said.
