FBI, County Officials Seek 'Valentine's Day' Bandit
The suspect is wanted in connection with two recent bank robberies in San Mateo County.

The FBI and San Mateo County authorities are trying to identify a bank robber who has been dubbed the "Valentine's Day Bandit."
The suspect is wanted in connection with two bank robberies -- one that occurred at a Chase Bank in Millbrae on Jan. 10 and one that happened at a Bank of the West in Burlingame on Feb. 14, FBI officials said.
The suspect is described as a black man about 50 to 60 years old and between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build. He has sunken cheeks, possible acne scars on his face and what may be skin discoloration on the back of his neck. He was last seen wearing sunglasses and a gray or tan-colored suit, FBI officials said.
In one robbery, he wore a black beanie-style hat with leopard print on it; in the other, he wore a white prayer-style hat with embroidery.
He displayed a handgun during the Millbrae robbery, and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the FBI. Anyone with information about the robber's identity of whereabouts is asked to call the nearest FBI office or police department, or call 911.
