Do You Recognize This Woman?

Her skeletal remains were found on San Bruno Mountain and authorities are having trouble returning her to her family.

The San Mateo County district attorney's investigations unit Thursday released facial reconstruction images of an unidentified woman who was found dead in Brisbane earlier this year.

The remains of the woman were found partially buried on San Bruno Mountain in Brisbane on Jan. 16, officials said.

Using facial reconstruction, images were released of what the woman may have looked like. She is described as a white woman of European ancestry, between the ages of 33 and 46 and somewhere between 5 feet 1 inch to 5 feet 9 inches tall.

The woman had a healed bone injury on her left arm and pelvic bone, and investigators believe the injury may have been the result of a fall or traffic accident years before her death.

Investigators believe the woman has been deceased for more than five years.

Anyone who recognizes this woman is asked to call Brisbane police at (415) 508-2188, ext. 541 or (415) 467-1212. The district attorney's investigations team is assisting Brisbane police with the case.
