Death of Woman Found in Esplanade Surf Ruled Suicide
Pacifica Police released the results of their investigation earlier this week.
and the San Mateo County Coroner's Office have released the results of an investigation into the death of a woman on Esplanade Beach.
The deceased had been as 54-year-old Rosemary Furenza, a Pacifica resident, but police said earlier this week that evidence uncovered during the investigation indicates that the cause of death was suicide by drowning. Police released no specifics about the evidence.
Furenza's body was found near Esplanade Avenue and West Manor Drive on Oct. 21, 2011.
