Jesusa Ursonal Tadad, 41, pleaded guilty Wednesday to pouring boiling water on her ex-husband and then hitting him in the head with a baseball bat.

On Wednesday, a Daly City woman pleaded guilty to murdering her ex-husband by pouring boiling water on him while he was asleep and then hitting him with a baseball bat.

Jesusa Ursonal Tatad, 41, and her ex-husband were separated but still living together. Suspecting that her ex-husband, Ronnie Tatad, 36, was cheating on her, she poured a pot of boiling water on him while he slept on Nov. 26, 2011, reported the San Francisco Chronicle.

When Tatad’s ex-husband ran to the bathroom, she was waiting for him and hit him in the head with a baseball bat.

Ronnie Tatad ran out of the residence, and saw a security guard, who called 911, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office. He was hospitalized with second and third degree burns over his body, and died two weeks later.
