BLOTTER: Gunshots Heard; Gun Turned Into Police; BB Gun Ammo Shatters Bathroom Window

The following information was supplied by the Pacifica Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Police log for Pacifica from Sept. 19-25.

Sept 19


7:08 a.m. Arguello Boulevard. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend keeps harassing her and that it’s an ongoing problem. She found the hood of her car propped open and believes it was him.

8:53      a.m. Franz Ct. A white Ford Escape was broken into through the window.

11:03 a.m. Rosita Rd. A duffle bag was taken from inside a black Toyota Tundra.

 

12:34      p.m. Alicante Drive. Resident complained of continual dumping on the property behind his house, and says the whole hillside is full of trash.

 

1:29      p.m.  Arroyo Drive. Neighbors are having an ongoing problem. Every time he sees her, he plays “chicken” with her, swerving his car toward her and then away at the last minute.

2:15      p.m. Naomi Ave. Suspicious behavior was reported when two males in hoodies opened the back door of a vehicle in a driveway and put a backpack in the back seat.

 

3:35      p.m. Redwood Way. A woman called police wanting to talk about her two brothers who live at the same residence together. She’s concerned about the one brother, the homeowner, because she thinks his girlfriend is using him for money.

 

4:28      p.m. Crestmoor Cr. Two men were reported chasing a white truck and yelling and screaming at the driver.

 

5:39      p.m. Cervantes Way. Woman reported being stalked while driving home from Redwood City to Pacifica, an ongoing problem. The man is described as having salt and pepper hair, balding with a black mustache and wearing Rayban sunglasses driving a green GMC Sierra.

 

Sept 20

 

2:27      a.m. Pacific Ave. A man passed out on the front porch of a residence was transferred to medics.

 

6:09      a.m. Crespi Dr. Gas was siphoned out of a car.

 

6:52      a.m.  Iris Ct. A car was broken into overnight and miscellaneous items were taken.

 

4:27      p.m. Aspen Drive. A stepdaughter threw a rock at her stepmother’s car, damaging the vehicle.

 

5:12      p.m. Terra Nova Bl. A mother reported that her daughter took her driver’s license, social security card and money from her wallet.

 

6:50 p.m. Solano Drive. A woman called police to report that her cousin was coming from Wisconsin to visit and had threatened her before, saying “he'll take care of her when he gets there.”

 

7:29 p.m. Anza Drive. A former employee was reported making threats over the phone and via email.

 

7:56 p.m. Surfers Lot on Old County Rd. A male and female under the age of 20 were found in the parking lot drinking alcohol.

 

6:12 p.m. Beach Boulevard/Clarendon Rd. A male and female inside a black Saturn with Georgia plates were reported for "looking like there were camping there for the night" and the one male subject was caught urinating in the street.

 

Sept 21

 

1:56      a.m.  Linda Mar Boulevard/Cabrillo Hwy. Male in the parking lot near Starbucks was reported for yelling and swearing.

 

3:21      a.m.  Miller Ave. Neighbor reported that it looked like someone was breaking into the residence next door.

 

6:14      a.m. Pacific Ave. A car window was smashed and an ipod was taken from inside the vehicle.

 

11:02      a.m. Linda Mar Bl. A younger male and female were reported screaming at each other while a white Dodge truck kept driving off and pulling back in, almost hitting the house.

 

12:15      p.m. Rosita Rd. A male was screaming at a woman and then left racing up and down the street recklessly in a black coupe.

 

7:49      p.m. Yosemite Dr. A man reported that his lover was missing and hasn’t seen him for three months.

 

8:07      p.m.  Flores Dr. Son was not suppose to be living back at family residence, he was reported on the property and refused to leave.

 

11:14 p.m. Heathcliff Dr. Two subjects were seen shining flashlights into an abandoned house.

 

Sept. 22

 

7:35      a.m.  Pacific Ave. Landlord came down the police station to report that he’s been having problems with a tenant not paying the rent.

 

9:44      a.m. Dell Rd. Daughter’s ex-boyfriend was moving out and scratched the floor while moving furniture. She wanted this documented.

 

11:11      a.m. Crespi Dr. Elderly woman reports that her family is harassing her.

 

3:08      p.m. Gateway Dr. A man reported his girlfriend missing when he was suppose to meet up with her to look at an apartment, her car was there, but she wasn’t. The rental office had not seen her either, and he said this was not like her.

 

Sept 23

 

9:45 a.m. Fairmont Ctr. A woman called police because she was concerned she almost hit a skateboarder in the area.

 

10:56      a.m. Esplanade Ave. A white Toyota Camry was broken into overnight and miscellaneous items were stolen.

 

11:30      a.m. Aspen Dr. A dog was reported barking excessively in a neighbor’s backyard.

 

11:36      a.m. Linda Mar Bl. Reckless driver was reported speeding down Highway 1 and cutting drivers off.

 

11:43 a.m.        San Pablo Tr. Tools were stolen from inside a silver Chevy truck.

 

2:33      p.m.  Linda Mar Bl. Two males were engaged in fistfight.

 

3:39      p.m. Valdez Way. Cab driver reported that his customer was refusing to pay his $68 fare.

 

4:02 p.m. Linda Mar Bl. Two homeless males were seen trying to steal a bike at the rear of the Park and Ride lot.

 

5:52      p.m. Reina Del Mar Av/Lauren Ave. A male was seen trying to steal a bike propped against the cyclone fence across the street.

 

6:32      p.m.  Hillside Dr. 30-year-old son out of rehab refuses to leave his family residence. He took the car and did not return it.

 

9:54 p.m. Arguello Bl. A man using a BB gun was reported for shooting at a bathroom window and breaking it.

 

Sept 24

 

7:24      a.m. Cabrillo Hwy/Manor Dr. A male in a dark blue hoodie was reported walking northbound on Highway 1, pacing back and forth.

 

12:18      p.m. Elm Ct. Gunshots were heard north on Oddstad toward the town homes.

 

5:37      p.m.  Palmetto Av/W Manor Dr. Police found two unattended children inside a car in the parking lot at the laundromat while the parents were inside doing laundry.

 

6:12      p.m. Park Pacifica Ave. A man reported that his Rolex watch had been taken sometime within the past 10 days and today it arrived on his front porch as a package.

 

7:11      p.m. Terra Nova Bl. Three guys in the their 20s who look “creepy” were reported for loitering in the carport behind a neighboring house.

 

8:50      p.m. Outlook Cr. A woman was unable to get inside her garage with her key, the door had been tampered with and she could hear movement inside the garage.

 

Sept 25

 

2:21      p.m. Gateway Dr. An argument with a stepson regarding the TV being locked up was reported.

 

10:32      a.m. San Pedro Terrace Rd/Peralta Rd. A woman reports having ongoing problems with boyfriend who broke her windshield, placed a picture of her on the vehicle and threw nails in the street.

 

12:13      p.m.  Palmetto Av. Neighbors were having problems with a local business on issues with the Fog Fest.

 

1:46      p.m. Alicante Drive. Ex-girlfriend came into the house and stole his dog. She left in a silver Toyota Celica.

 

4:05      p.m. Pacifica Police Department on Cabrillo Hwy. Resident has a gun and wants to turn it into police for destruction.
