Big-Rig Collision Snarls Highway 92 Near Half Moon Bay

Two big-rig trucks collided on state Highway 92 near Half Moon Bay this afternoon, and traffic is down to one lane in both directions, a California Highway Patrol officer said.    

The crash was reported near Pillarcitos Creek Road at about 2:20 p.m., CHP Officer Marc Johnston said.        

There was no immediate report of injuries, though an ambulance has  been dispatched to the scene, Johnston said.             

A Sig-alert was issued at 2:57 p.m., and motorists are being advised to use alternate routes.
