Let's Make a Comeback and Win $100K for Local Schools

Remember to vote every day and tell your friends.

We had a decent voting day on Jan. 3 in Patch's contest, in which resident Mary Ellen Forrest $100,000 for local public schools with her fantastic holiday lights display, but Pacifica can do better.

We're gaining on Killingworth-Durham-Middlefield, CT Patch and with some serious effort and word-of-mouth, I believe we can win this thing.

Please, remember to vote every day through Jan. 8 and ask those around you who care about local schools to vote, too. Send emails, post it on Facebook, tweet it. I have yard signs you can plop down on your property, too. I'll be at the Linda Mar Starbucks today at 10a.m. if anyone wants to pick some up.

Spread the word!

I just wanted to let my friends know that last night I got and received 10 signs to put out front of my house. What a easy way to help our schools try to win the contest. I live on Crespi and there are many people who drive up and down, attend Oddstad Park and the buses run this street, all who can see the signs. You can help also by doing the same and e mailing and facebook your friends. Knock on my door and I will give you one of my signs, its that easy. This is one way to help without putting out a cent.
