Farewell From Your Patch Local Editor

Dear Pacifica,

This is a note to let everyone know that as of 2 p.m. today, my position as the local editor of Half Moon Bay Patch and Pacifica Patch will sadly come to an end with Patch's restructuring plans, which includes eliminating local editors like me at all of the Bay Area’s Patch sites.

It's unclear what will happen to the sites under the leadership of the new company, Hale Global. For today at least, both Half Moon Bay Patch and Pacifica Patch are up and running — but without me. 

I first started reporting and editing for Patch when it first launched in 2010, and since then it has been an amazing experience covering these two dynamic towns, and as local editor for the past two years getting to know all of you.

It has been a privilege to cover both Pacifica and Half Moon Bay because of the people who live and work here. I’ve gotten to know these two communities through the hard work and dedication you give them and for that I am grateful. I truly appreciate your support along the way. 

So a big thank you for all you do for our community and for working with me over the past four years covering our Coastside, a very special place indeed.
