Coyotes at Mussel Rock
Met someone today whose dog was killed by coyotes at Mussel Rock. I do not advocate killing the coyotes, or harming them, but we need a very strong warning to those visiting the area. The signs are not a strong enough warning as we see them throughout Pacifica, however dogs are not routinely attacked with as much frequency in other locations. I think a stronger warning should say that dogs have been killed in that location and to avoid the area if you have a dog. Thoughts? Am I overreacting? Before I knew of the problem, I found myself in the midst of a pack, however they did not attack, thankfully ( I had my 23 proud dog with me). For anyone who has witnessed their dog being killed, it is too late. Let's try to prevent this from happening again.
