How do you get someone to donate $1.4 million to you?
So far that seems to be the amount that Don Horsley, Carole Groom, Adrienne Tisser, and Rose Jacobs Gibson, our supervisors, were able to get Seton Medical Center and S.E.I.U and others to give.
Also, they supplied a Seton staff member to spearhead the Yes on Measure A campgain.
We know Seton expects to get $15 million per year.
I'm not sure how many commercials that bought yet, but I personally have seen over 30 of them, and it seems to have worked.
Only 68,610 of unorganized voters (you and me) voted no on Measure A, and we now have one of the most expensive counties in the state of California to purchase things.
