Pedro Point Headlands Habitat Restoration workday Sunday, September 22nd 9:45AM to 1.00PM
Blue skies and distant views are coming back to the Pedro Point Headlands and who doesn't love this site for exactly these reasons? While most of the other plants have dried up and shed their seed, the Pearly Everlasting, Coyote bush, sage, and coffeeberry plants are taking center stage and showing off their colors.
Please feel free to join us this Sunday as we enjoy, give back, and learn about the Pedro Point Headlands. All are welcome.

- invasive removal (found a bunch of pampas grass by the future access area by the "road to nowhere")
- Water Plants on Middle Ridge
- Pampas hunting throughout the property - seeing the "pretty" fronds up the arroyo and elsewhere.
- North Ridge - Big Cottoneasters are still calling our names (need the pick mattockes this time)
- Seed collecting - we hope to sow seeds on the north ridge areas before Go Native does more erosion control fabric and we need several pounds of seeds for this!!!
This workday is a project of the Pacifica Land Trust, funded by the CA Coastal Conservancy and supported by the Pedro Point Community Association. Please join us if you can, wear sturdy shoes, long sleeve shirt and long pants, and bring a water bottle if you can. Sunscreen, Sun glasses, hats and a sweatshirt just in case are recommended.
