National Day of Service events coming January 19th

Please join us on this National Day of Service and help us keep our ocean, beaches and shorelines clean, safe and healthy.

Join your friends and neighbors at Pacifica Beach Coalition's special annual planting event.  This month, the Pacifica Beach Coalition offer s TWO activities at Linda Mar State Beach on January 19th:  (1) beach cleanup, and (2) restore dune habitat by planting native plants. Meet us at Linda Mar Beach, 9:00, next to the seawall in the LMB state parking lot (just north of Taco Bell).  After we beautify the beach, we'll walk to the north end of Linda Mar State Beach where we will plant native vegetation.

Help us help the earth, bring your light weight garden gloves, favorite planting tool, reusable water bottle and a small bucket. Dress for warm or cold and wear sturdy shoes.  Supplies will be available for all.

These activities honor President Obama's request for ongoing community involvement and they serve as an extension of his Inauguration celebration.  Please join us on this National Day of Service and help us keep our ocean, beaches and shorelines clean, safe and healthy.
