New Hotel in San Bruno?

How many people want a new hotel in San Bruno?

Just curious: How many people had a chance to voice their opinions on the city's decision in August to spend $1.4 million to build a hotel on the vacant lot at the Crossing?

Chris thanks for the explanation. So I guess we're back to John's question as to how the city decided to spend the money to buy the land. It's interesting how decisions that take a long time to implement can be affected by our ever-changing economic situtation.

Bids to build a new Hotel near the Crossing have to be in by Dec. 14th This should give us an idea, of the demand for a Hotel.

I too didn't think it was a done deal! I think it is unnecessary and a waste of monies!! How many hotels does San Bruno need!!! Which raises ANOTHER question!!! Has the prostitute problem at one of our San Bruno motel / Hotel locating on El Camino Real Across the street from Chiles been taken care of????? It's a disgrace!!
