A Fun (and Unexpected) Reason to Support Local Business
Pacifica may get a bad rap for not having much to do, but Chit Chat can be a fun place to hang out, and sometimes you see things you'd never imagine!
Each month, my friend Adam Hundley, who's a local musician, brings his talent to Chit Chat Cafe for a good time. He plays some stuff he's written, but also makes sure to throw in some songs we can all sing along to.
A couple days before Halloween this year, Adam got an unexpected guest on stage with him. A person decked out as a Klingon was walking by outside the cafe and Adam mentioned something about it. Before he knew it, the Klingon came into the cafe and proceeded to sing a song... Not once did he break character! Check out the video of it here.
Back on Dec 10th, we even got a visit from Santa. But at least we had a heads up for that encounter! Adam even taught the kids a little about renewable energy...so he thought. There's video of that too!

We've packed out Chit Chat multiple evenings now. Maybe some other local businesses will think about doing something similar. Good for business and good for building community here in Pacifica so people don't have to leave to have fun!
