Los Gatos Home on Market For $20M

Six-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion is located on Aztec Ridge Drive, in the southeast hills of town.

A Los Gatos mansion located at 16450 Aztec Ridge Drive is on the market for nearly $20 million, an example of the gorgeous properties that dot the southeast hills.

According to its listing on the AOL Real Estate website, the six-bedroom, nine bathroom 11,257-square-foot home is situated on an approximately 50-acre lot.

"One of the most unique settings in the world," states its Multiple Service Listing with the ID of 81137011.

"Birds-eye views encompassing the entire Silicon Valley from downtown San Jose all the way to San Francisco," the listing continues.

Modern architecture with amazing ceiling heights, and an open floor plan with a separate guest house larger than 2,000 square feet, are also included, the listing states.

Photos accompanying the listing show the house has a pool, beautifully landscaped yards with palm trees, marble floors, a jacuzzi, an atrium, and a tennis court.

The mansion, built in 1991, is also gated at end of quiet cul-de-sac, the listing says.

A public records search says the property, whose exact price is $19,995,000, is owned by Jamal Dean Modir.

The mansion's listing agent is Pierre Buljan, of Coldwell Banker. He can reached at 650-403-1288, or pierre.buljan@cbnorcal.com

Hi Stephen, I was just searching the AOL Real Estate website and found it. Since I hadn't reported on it, I thought why not. That's an expensive piece of property! That met one my news values! Thanks for reading!

Isn't it amazing what we have tucked away in our hills? High end homes take longer to sell because the pool of buyers is much smaller. My favorite high end home on the market right now is 20108 Foster Road. I just love the infinity edge pool and the wine cave! And a home owned by Jack Tramiel (of Atari) is currently on the market as well in Monte Sereno right now. Good news is that both homes are almost half this price!

Wow what a place! But at this point in my life I would be happy to have a one story, one bedroom home...

I've been to that house before - on the corner on the bottom end of the "deck" area by the pool is a counter that lines the round edge, and there are stools so you can sit at it and beyond that is just a view of the entire valley. It's also a very noticeable house from the town!

It would be a great property to convert to a Four Season's type Bed n Breakfast mini resort. Let's pool our resources and do it!
