Turkey Donations Needed in Pacifica This Week

The Pacifica Resource Center is currently accepting donations of frozen turkeys for families in need this Thanksgiving.

Food banks around the Bay Area are asking for more donations as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches. This includes the Pacifica Resource Center, which is asking residents to donate frozen turkeys this week for local families in need.

The Pacifica Resource Center is a community-based organization dedicated to stabilizing Pacifica families and individuals by providing a safety net of food, housing assistance, and other critical services along with advocacy, coaching, information, and referral.

The non-profit organization is located at 1809 Palmetto Ave. in Pacifica and will accept frozen turkey donations by calling first 650-738-7470. Donations are preferred this week, on Wednesday and Thursday, so they can be distributed to families in need before the Thanksgiving holiday.
