Committed to ending neuromuscular disease, Firefighters from CAL FIRE Pacifica will be generously volunteering their time for the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Annual Fill the Boot event at Palmetto and Hwy 1 in Pacifica from 10:30am-3pm Saturday, September 29, 2012. They will be asking motorists and pedestrians alike to drop some money in their boots to support vital health care services MDA provides to Bay Area children and families affected by muscle disease.
Funds support MDA’s services locally and nationally, including over 200 hospital-affiliated medical clinics staffed with specialists in neuromuscular disease and special summer camps for kids.
