Bay Area Students 18 and under are invited to this special event to meet Lincoln Shaw of Animal Planet’s “WhaleWars” and Chris Pincetich of the "Turtle Island Restoration Network". Learn more what you can do to help our oceans and the amazing animals that live there.
Look for the Pacifica Beach Coalition sign in the outdoor area of Surf Spot. Students (ages 18 and under).
Students may enter raffles to win:
2 free tickets to the California Academy of Sciences or a model
of the ship used on Animal
Planet’s
“Whale Wars”.
Here’s how:
1. To win
the model of the ship used in “Whale Wars”-Attend
“Young Ocean Stewards Night” at the Surf
Spot onThursday September 26th from 6-8pm and
enter
your name in the raffle.
2. To win
tickets to the California Academy of Sciences- Participate in a
beach clean-up with the Pacifica Beach
The drawing for the tickets and
ship model
will be held at 7:00pm.
