Community Corner

Photography Exhibit by Haitian Youth - Reception

Please join Zanmi Lakay for a reception celebrating Haiti through the eyes of children.

This is a chance to see a collection of photographs taken by our incredibly talented Haitian students over the years, including images from after the 2010 earthquake, and our first annual Jouk Li Jou Kan Foto/Youth Photo Camp in 2011.

We will also be debuting a short video made by one of our volunteer professional photographers about our first annual Youth Photo Camp!

Zanmi Lakay is excited to have the opportunity to share this work in our hometown!

Local Pacificans Jennifer and Guy Pantaléon founded Zanmi Lakay, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for current and former street children in Haiti by providing educational and economic opportunities and resources through our School Sponsorship and Outreach Programs, and Community Photography Workshops to help these children while they are on the streets and to help build a life for them off the streets.
