Historically, the hottest average month for Half Moon Bay, August temperatures can climb all the way to a sweltering 66 degrees. As other parts of the country battle tinder-box dry conditions and forest fires, or the muggy 100% humidity and clouds of mosquitoes and mayflies, Half Moon Bay residents are strongly cautioned to bring a sweatshirt or light windbreaker if they intend to brave the dire local conditions.
Unusual formations are predicted for the evening of SATURDAY, AUGUST 10TH, beginning at 7:30 PM. The well known micro-climate at Odd Fellows Hall, 526 Main Street, Half Moon Bay, will be sizzling. Under an extreme high pressure front, the Blue Blanket Improv players will be trying to maintain their cool. A tornado of comic scenes, whirled up by audience suggestions, will touch down amid the shady characters, icy stares, (the stairs will be ice free), and lightning-quick wit, leading to a veritable tsunami of applause!
