Beach Clean up and Field Trip to learn more about Mussel Rock

The Pacifica Beach Coalition invites you to help keep our beaches clean and learn more about the fascinating history of Mussel Rock.

Starting at 9am and  finishing at11am, we will clean up the beach, parking lots and streets.   Meet in the parking lot about 1/2 mile north of the intersection of Westline and Skyline Drives in Daly City.  This is just north of the Pacifica border near the Mussel Rock transfer station (aka the "dump").
Directions from Mussel Rock:
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=daly%20city%20museum&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&sa=N&tab=wl

Then at 12.30pm everyone is invited to meet at Daly City Historical Museum. Address:

6351 Mission Street
Daly City, CA 94014

We are fortunate to be welcomed to a tour of the Mussel Rock Ohlone Native Indian tribal artifacts guided by Mussel Rock expert/docent Dana Smith and excavation steward Don Fleming.

Dress in layers as we may have fog at this time of year. Come prepared with sunscreen, gloves, buckets and grab sticks, etc, but we will have some to share.
