UPDATE 7:51am: The missing woman dead in a San Francisco apartment yesterday and police have named the missing man a person of interest.  Finally, there was the Pacifica , which includes an a foul-mouthed cat walker, a mountain lion attacking a raccoon and a 16-year-old kicking a pregnant woman in the stomach.

Band programs at four Pacifica middle schools are in trouble--trouble so deep they might not even exist next year. The Rob Schneider Music Foundation has announced that it can no longer provide money for the salaries of the two music instructors running the show.
