Kmart, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid Ban Rolling Stone
Retail chains announced they won't sell the latest issue displaying Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover.

Update: 2:30 p.m.-- Officials from 7-Eleven have reversed their decision to sell the controversial issue of Rolling Stone and announced they will not stock carry it in stores.
If you're looking to buy the latest Rolling Stone issue on Aug. 1, you won't be able to find it at Kmart, CVS, Walgreens or Rite Aid stores.

The CVS chain issued the following on its Facebook page Wednesday as online and social media trended in reaction to the publication's release of its latest issue:
CVS/pharmacy has decided not to sell the current issue of Rolling Stone featuring a cover photo of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect. As a company with deep roots in New England and a strong presence in Boston, we believe this is the right decision out of respect for the victims of the attack and their loved ones.
A representative from the company's public relations department told Patch Wednesday the statement applies to all its locations, including those in the Bay Area.
The official Twitter account for Walgreens responded to customer outrage by Tweeting:
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Walgreens will not be selling this issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
A Kmart spokesperson wrote in an e-mail to the Huffington Post that the retailer also won't be selling copies of the magazine, "out of respect for those impacted by the events of April 15th."
A spokeswoman from 7-Eleven, however, wrote in an e-mail to the Huffington Post that the chain still plans to sell the magazine.
In a spot typically reserved for iconic rock stars, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's face appears on the new issue, due on newsstands on Friday. On Twitter, the cover has been compared to that featuring the late Jim Morrison of the Doors.
Rolling Stone told USA Today that the outcry is reminiscent of another polarizing cover, more than 40 years ago, on cult leader and mass murderer Charles Manson.
That 1970 magazine, including a prison interview with Manson who made his headquarters at the Spahn Ranch in Chatsworth, became one of Rolling Stone's biggest selling issues and won a National Magazine award.
The feature has sparked outrage across social media. A Facebook Page "Boycott Rolling Stone Magazine for their latest cover" had a rapidly growing 36,000 followers on Wednesday morning.
The Rolling Stone's article is headlined: “The Bomber: How a Popular, Promising Student Was Failed by His Family, Fell into Radical Islam, and Became a Monster.”
