Kahuna Kupuna Surf Contest Returns to Pacifica
The annual event honors the experience and age older surfers.
Tuesday, July 16, is the deadline to register for the 14th Annual Kahuna Kupuna Surf Contest which is set for Saturday, July 20 at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica.
While participation in the contest is open to everyone, the focus of the event is to honor the age and experience of surfers older than 40 who still hit the waves on a regular basis.
The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will include separate sub-divisions for shortboard and longboard surfers, and an inter-generational team division that will be open to surfers of all ages.
