Food Trucks on the Move in Daly City

The weekly "Off the Grid" mobile food market moves to a new location Tuesday, July 16.

Because of its increasing popularity among alfresco diners, the weekly Off the Grid: Serramonte mobile food truck event is moving to a new location at Serramonte Center in Daly City starting Tuesday, July 16.

Trucks will roll into place at 5 p.m. in the parking area outside the Macy’s department store. The move will give patrons easier access and more parking for the event which continues until 9 p.m.

The food fest, which started in May, includes a wide mix of cuisines from tacos to Asian fusion, ribs, sandwiches and desserts. Admission is free, and food prices are set by individual vendors.
