Daly City: House Fire Displaces Family of 3

No one was injured, officials said.

A house fire displaced three people in Daly City Monday afternoon, according to the North County Fire Authority.

Units responded to reports of a fire at a two-story home at 18 Crestline Ave. at about 1:25 p.m., fire officials said.

Arriving firefighters reported seeing light smoke coming from the house, and quickly located the fire, which was concentrated within the walls around an upstairs fireplace.

No residents were in the house at the time, and no one was injured, fire officials said.

Two adults and one child were displaced by the blaze and found temporary housing with relatives, officials said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
