Caltrans Highway 1 Construction Delayed

The start date of Caltrans construction and one-way traffic control has been pushed back until August 15.

Caltrans announced today that the start of its and one-way traffic control on Highway 1 has been delayed until August 15.

Traffic will be moving one direction at a time on Highway 1 from Monday, August 15, to Friday, August 26, the weekend excluded, as Caltrans repairs a section of the roadway susceptable to landslides.

The agency did not indicate why the start date had been pushed back.
