AnnaBee's Hosts Red Carpet Event to Win Pacifica a Dog Park

Get you and your four-legged best friend gussied up: Sunday brings a see-and-be-seen event for Pacifica dog lovers. 

As part of the ongoing efforts by community members to win Pacifica , AnnaBee's Doggie Boutique & Café will host a lavish function.

The furry stars of a video (see gallery to the right) put together by community members at the request of the Pacifica Organization of Canine Helpers (POOCH) for the PetSafe competition will be there for photos and pawtographs. There will be treats for both dog and humans.

"We thought it would be fun for the people who support us," Jana Lane, member of POOCH and organizer of Sunday's event. "The voters can meet the cast and the crew (of the video). We're hoping to be able to get people to vote while we're here tomorrow. We've had a lot of support from the city; it's a good way to say thank you."

Can't make it? Show your support by voting for Pacifica in the PetSafe contest. Currently, our city is in 10th place, and only first place will walk away with the $100,000 prize for a dog park. Get voting!

Remember, you can vote twice every day until the contest ends on Aug. 3, once via the contest's homepage and once on its Facebook page. 

The event at AnnaBee's, 5410 Coast Highway in the Pedro Point Shopping Center, runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
