I was in Yoga class the other day. An arrogant Yogi went on & on about how delicious kale was. I thought quiet Yoga thoughts to myself "WHAT A LIAR! KALE TASTES LIKE FEET!" It bothered me why anyone would say kale is "delicious?" I pondered memories of choking down raw kale spines a friend once served me.
But then I remembered! My love affair with the Indo Kale Salad at Pacifica's Surf Spot Restaurant! Brown rice, avocado, mint, basil, cilantro, DRIZZLED with chili-lime vinaigrette! And did someone also mentioned "Kale Chips!?" Anything with "Chips" in the same name, I'm game!
