Video: The Farmer's Market Is Back

Shop and eat locally by visiting the Coastside Farmers Market weekly.

Wednesday afternoon marked the return of the Coastside Farmer's Market to Pacifica.

At 2:30p.m., when the market open to a crowd and warm sunlight, Mayor Mary Ann Nihart was there to bestow her blessing and quite literally ring in the market with a bell.

Beside the old market standards, such as Hayward, CA's Roli Roti Gourmet Rotisserie rotisserie trailer displaying dozens of glistening, rotating chickens and Petaluma, CA's The Hummus Guy hawking his hummus in a myriad of flavors, were newcomers Airielle Love of Fly Girl Farm in Pescadero selling "Starts", or plant seedlings, and Pacifican Caroline Gilchrist with her Grain Sweet candy.
