VIDEO: Rotary Club of Pacifica's 2011 Bowl-A-Thon Brings Philanthropy to the Lanes

was packed on the night of Sunday, March 6, as Pacificans gathered to support the Rotary Club at its annual Bowl-A-Thon. 

Teams of four bowlers competed against one another while enjoying pizza, beer or soda. Local businesses organizations and individuals including the Pacifica Police Officers Association, Pacifica Police Supervisors Association, Law Offices of Patrick Talbot Hall, Recology of the Coast, notary signing agent Marilyn St. Germain-Hall, , , Oceanshore/Partners Mortgage, Granite Creditors Service, Freutel Roofing, Mary Brown State Farm Insurance, , realtor Charles Gerughty, Dave & Lou's Service, Nick's Restaurant, Muscio Electric and the also chipped in and sponsored lanes during the event. 

The Rotary Club of Pacifica uses money raised at events such as this to purchase dictionaries for every 3rd grader in Pacifica, to build the Rotary Plaza at the , to provide scholarships to college-bound Pacifica high school students and other, international projects.
