Rockaway Beach Farmer's Market Opens Today - With Pottery!

Come on down for fresh produce, local goods, music and crafts.

The day is finally here: the Coastside Farmer's Market in Pacifica is open for business!

Come down to the Rockaway Beach Plaza for some fresh, locally-grown produce, flowers, goods (vinegar and olives are my favorites) and for the first time ever, pottery.

Anna Lichtenberg, a Rockaway resident, will be selling pottery that she's made here in town.

If it's groceries you're after, there's always market favorites like Hayward, CA's RoliRoti Gourmet Rotisserie rotisserie trailer displaying dozens of glistening, rotating chickens and Petaluma, CA's The Hummus Guy hawking his hummus in a myriad of flavors, Airielle Love of Fly Girl Farm in Pescadero selling "Starts", or plant seedlings, and produce. Farmer John from Half Moon Bay will be there with fresh veggies, too.

Supervisor Don Horsley will be on hand today to ring the Opening Day Bell and get things started.
