New Pacifica Eatery Going Primetime

Pacifica's Surf Spot will be featured on The Cooking Channel's "Man, Food & Fire" this fall.

Film crews from a national cable network will hit the shores of Pacifica today for the filming of a program featuring the newly-opened "."

The coastside hotspot, run by renowned Bay Area chef Derek Burns, will be featured on The Cooking Channel's "Man, Food & Fire" this fall.

The restaurant features delicacies from exotic surfing destinations around the world prepared with locally sourced meats and produce.

The eatery also features an outdoor music venue that seats 250.

The crew will film a luau on the restaurant's deck this afternoon, a restaurant spokeswoman said.
