New Coffee Shop and Taqueria Opens, Chiropractic Center Celebrates 21 Years

OPEN: Perfect Pour, 188 Clarendon Road, Pacifica

A new coffee shop on Clarendon Road opened Aug. 3 and the owner is Pacifica native Haley McKee, 22, a Skyline College business major, who will donate five percent of her profit back to the community. Perfect Pour offers five different blends of select coffee as well as breakfast and lunch items.

OPENING: Guerrero’s Taqueria, Hickey Blvd., Fairmont Shopping Center, Pacifica

Guerrero’s Taqueria, famous for it’s Vallemar location behind the big caboose, will now have a second location in the Fairmont Shopping Center. The new eatery is slated to open in a month. Since 1996, locally owned Guerrero's Taqueria has been a favorite Mexican restaurant for Pacifica residents. Known for its super burritos and dinner plates, Guerrero's will also offer in its new location a large selection of menu options including seafood, beef, chicken and carnitas.

Makati Chiropractic Center, the practice of Dr. Ronald D. Mitchell, celebrated their 21st anniversary Aug. 3 with the Pacifica Chamber of Commerce. Mitchell treats all ages and offers all phases of chiropractic care. He’s also served as the team chiropractor for the San Francisco Giants and treats other professional athletes and celebrities. NOW SERVING DINNER: Beach Monkey Café, 986 Linda Mar Blvd., Pacifica

The Beach Monkey Cafe expanded their menu and is now open for dinner exactly six months after they first opened for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Takeout is also available. New hours are Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 5 to 9 p.m. and weekends 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Beach Monkey Cafe offers organic and local made from scratch food that won't bust the bank account.
