Meet a Farmer's Market Vendor: Grain Sweet
Pacifica Patch stopped at the Coastside Farmer's Market to talk to the owner of Grain Sweet.
Every Wednesday from 2:30pm to 6:30p.m. Pacifica hosts the Coastside Farmer's Market, where visitors can stop by to taste and purchase fresh fish, produce and other locally made products.
Pacifica Patch interviewed some of the faces behind the farmer's market to give you the inside scoop on the local vendors.
This week, we interviewed Caroline, the owner of Grain Sweet. The Pacifica based business specializes in a candy bar made of grains. The products do not contain any sugar, wheat, or dairy, and some of the bars are gluten free. Caroline incorporates ingredients including freshly toasted almonds, pecans, chocolate, brown rice, and many more.
