La Mordida Taqueria Serves Up a Local Crowd
La Taqueria Mordida was busy yesterday taking orders from hungry Pacificans out enjoying the day.
Clear, sunny weather and the Veterans Day holiday made the perfect conditions yesterday for grabbing delicious Mexican fare at Pacific Manor’s La Taqueria Mordida.
Hungry customers were lined up inside and out Monday.
Even the simplest taco on the menu comes loaded with extras and all for a very fair price.

La Taqueria Mordida opened last spring at 535 Oceana Blvd. in the old Taco Bell building. Since then, Pacificans hungry for a new taqueria in town have been lining up for their orders out the door. The restaurant is designed more like a burrito bar where you order from the counter. Most of the customers take their food to-go, either home or to the beach, although there are tables but usually full.
Fajitas, huaraches, jumbo burritos, carne asada, buche, al pastor, and taco plates round the authentic Mexican dishes available on the menu. There are also lots of meat selections from lengua (beef tongue) to chorizo.
