Stormy Weather Brings Windy Road Conditions

Wetter weather expected later today, but wind advisories currently in place on area bridges.

With a series of storms expected to pass through the Bay Area in the next few days, wind advisories have been issued this morning on several bridges, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Just after midnight wind advisories went into effect on the Bay, San Mateo and Dumbarton bridges, according to the CHP.

Although wetter weather is expected later today, high winds are making for dangerous driving conditions this morning. Drivers are advised to use caution.
