The San Mateo County Chapters of the Surfrider Foundation will hold a Pro/Am Surf Contest Sunday at Linda Mar Beach. The contest starts at 7 a.m.
The event also features a beach cleanup that will be held from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Work gloves will be provided.
The Pro/Am contest follows the 13th Annual Kahuna Kapuna amateur surf contest on Saturday at Linda Mar aimed at 40-and-over surfers. The contest features food, raffles, and live music.
The age divisions represented this year:
- 40-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75-79
The competition kicks off at 8 a.m. and runs all day.
