Lynn Ruth Miller started doing stand-up comedy when she was 70.
"At my age, I don't just tell a joke, I AM a joke," said Miller, referring to herself as "a senior citizen they can't seem to keep cloistered in the home."

Lynn's a favorite at comedy clubs all over the Bay Area and she's performed at Scotland's Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2005. She's a riotous good time, cracking up Pacificans of all ages at the monthly open mike nights she hosts at the .
Now she's made it her mission to bring more comedic talent to Pacifica audiences with Comedy Mondays at .

Sharman Summers has played The Comedy Store in L.A. as well as venues all around the Bay Area. She's a hit at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and she and Dan Edwards both headlined at another night of stand-up comedy hosted by Lynn at in November.
According to Lynn, Dan Edwards's observations provide humorous and insightful peeks into life's everyday trials and tribulations.
"Getting older is a wonderful thing," said Edwards. "If you're not getting older, check your pulse and hope you are wrong."
Dan will be coming all the way from his home in the Sierra Mountains for tonight’s show.
“I love coming to Pacifica to perform,” he said. “It’s a long drive from home but Lynn Ruth Miller has worked very hard to bring comedy to this wonderful seaside community and it’s an honor to be part of her effort.”
Dave DeLuca started doing stand-up in San Francisco 8 years ago and has recently moved back to the Bay Area after living in New York City for several years. He’s known Lynn Ruth Miller since his early days of stand-up comedy.
“Lynn is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I know, and so much fun to be around, so when she asked me to perform at A Grape in the Fog, I said, 'Just tell me when.’”
