Pacifica Tribune Writer Pens Local Cemetery History Book

Arts and features correspondent for the Pacifica Tribune, Jean Bartlett, signs copies of her new book, celebrating the 125th anniversary of Colma's oldest and largest cemetery.

San Francisco native and long-time Pacifica Tribune writer Jean Bartlett, will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Mission Road, Colma, Wednesday, October 24, 4-6:30 p.m., to sign copies of her latest work "125 Years of History, Ministry & Service: Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma."

Bartlett has been the Arts and Features Correspondent for the Pacifica Tribune for the past 13 years. It was through her articles over the years that Bartlett came to know Holy Cross. She was asked to write a combination history/guide book to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Colma's oldest and largest cemetery.

The book by Bartlett with cover art by Hugh Zeng is now available for sale for $20. Books may be purchased at the cemetery office and by mail. Please add $3 postage to purchase by mail.
