Pacifica Spindrift Players Opening Night

You Can't Take It With You will run through June 24

 

This evening is opening night for the Pacifica Spindrift Players' production of You Can't Take It With You. The romantic comedy by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart features a wealthy young man who falls in love with a woman from an eccentric family. The play earned early acclaim with a Pulitzer Prize in 1937, as well as Best Director and Best Picture Oscars for a Hollywood version for the big screen, starring James Stewart.

Barbara Williams will direct the Pacifica production. The cast includes actors from Daly City, Half Moon Bay, and San Francisco, as well as Joanie and Gary Pugh Newman from Pacifica.

The show will run through June 24, and tickets are available at the company website. Tickets are half price tonight and through this weekend, at $10.00 for adults and $7.50 for seniors and students.
