organizers are encouraging attendees to carpool to this weekend's event at the San Mateo Event Center. They expect major congestion to wreak havoc on peoples' patience and have partnered with Ridejoy to alleviate that pain.
People who are looking for other commuters can connect on Ridejoy. Maker Faire fans are offering rides from as far south as San Diego to this year’s event, which, as usual, will be held at the San Mateo Event Center. Anyone can request a ride. It’s highly likely that those who offer to share the cost of fuel will be appreciated.
Stay tuned to Patch to read more about Half Moon Bay Makers who will be participating in the event (If you have a maker that you want us to profile, tell us in the comments.)
To find a carpool, check out Ridejoy.
The Maker Faire will be held this weekend on Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 20 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
