Whales Hanging Around Rockaway
Whale watcher Judy Ayala has discovered that three whales are staying put just offshore at Rockaway State Beach. Grab your cameras!
Earlier this month, Pacifica Patch's Whale Correspondent of the giant aquatic mammals passing by Pacifica's coastline, but it appears a family is lounging around .
"The same three whales are still in Rockaway!" she wrote in an email. "The largest one stays out the farthest. The mom and baby are always together and nearer to the shore."
